I can't believe the money that they are hoping to get out of these cases. I know that MCWs aren't nearly as common as MREs, but still, seriously people, wow! You can find some good stuff on the 'ol bay, but you have to wade through a lot of garbage to find it though.

Almost Scammed Buying MCIs
Its sad when you can not trust most people. I posted an ad looking for some vintage rations for sale on a facebook buy sell trade page. I live down in Texas at Fort Hood so I sometimes find some real good rations.
A guy messaged me and said his dad passed away and left a bunch of early Vietnam era military things, a case of MCIs being part of it. Only wanted 20 bucks per MCI, should have known then it was crap.
After many back and forth messages I took a good look at the first pic of the case he sent me then compared to the last pic he sent. OBVIOUSLY different cases. After confronting him he blocked me. Any how the guys name is Zachariah Christiano and is out of Georgia. Beware if you run across this guy!

Reverse image searching will save you a lot of grief. If you do a Google image search for "vietnam era c rations", both of those images come up early in the results.

I win. Not a ration, but this is ridiculous.
