All this looks perfectly edible to me, send me tha pack! :P
I guess you'd have to ask the bastard on youtube for it but I think he threw all the contents away, a damn shame to waste a $50 dollar ration!

I'll have to read the Russian ration page again but is there a difference in the meal contents?

I just asked the people at sovietarmystuff.com and I'll post what they say since on the website they show what looks to be outdated contents.

I'll have to ask the waster on youtube where he got it, I have a feeling it was at the same place because I seem to remember him saying something about he had to special order it.

Either way I hope it is the new updated ration. And the sovietarmystuff.com people haven't responded yet, I'll see on monday and post with their reply.

EDIT: I just found their forum, I'll ask there.

I saw the ration they have in their website...the russian ration they got is a civilian type, made by the same company that pruduces them to the russian military.
The diference is that the REAL russian military packaging has a red star on it and thisone doesn't.It look more like for the civilian market. The Ukranian one??? have to check...
29.95, nice but the S/H is a killer.... But , if that lilttle kiddo got it with his allowance money ...I bet I can

Peace!

Not too bad, $18 for one
$30 for two
Shipped from the Ukraine to the USA.
Europe should be cheaper.
Or, just wait until the Sov's come visiting again... :D

The guys on the sovietarmystuff.com forum said this
We do sell one like the one above and the contents are pretty much the same. These packs are quite a good piece of kit to stick in your pack when you go camping or hiking or a days airsofting! Below are some links to the ones we have for sale. We did have at one point a similar pack in a cardboard box but we seem to be out of stock of it, they were pretty good and came with a pretty basic hexamine fuel stove. Im glad you posted this question, I must get onto Vlad and get some of these packs ordered for when I next go airsofting!

I really want an authentic ration and not a civilian MRE type deal with the Russians.
