Last Rafco I traded, I took a bit in trade value for it - and I felt like I should have asked about double that. But it was to a good friend and a reviewer. Someone who filmed it.

They are worth it - they were only made for one year. Personally, I wouldn't even trade one for a K Ration. K Rations are less rare and valuable as far as I'm concerned. You don't see Rafcos every day. I see WW1 Rations pop up more often.

So if you want to get a Rafco - your best best is start reviewing - or bid 200 on that one on Ebay.

PS
Hey Zack - what ever happened to our deal for the Newports? I still got all your stuff in a box waiting over here. If you changed your mind, lemme know.
Steve, We have a bunch of these at my unit, I'll see if I can snag a few boxes, they're just collecting dust, for some reason a lot of guys here don't like the RCW at all, they all go for the standard MRE, I thought I was the only one who loves these things.
I love the RCWs as well, would like 2 please if thats possible.

Hey, not bad!
I know I'm not the only one here who loves RCWs!
If it happens to pan out, PM me with what you happen to scrounge up & how much I owe ya for them.
And absolutely save a Beef Stew for BTemple and a couple for Eistee too. They are great guys, also with an acute taste for a quality ration!

Absolutely! If I can sway them into letting me take them I will be more than happy to send some to all of you, I really want to trade them for Russian IRPs and the Russian 24hr mountain ration. Other units may have some more RCWs as well, they give them out for our cold weather training and winter field operations we do here. I'll keep asking around so I can keep a good stock of them.

I think he is talking about Meal Cold Weather, not Ration Cold Weather. I can't imagine someone is still giving out RCWs to their personnel.

If you can get a case I'd be in for grabbing a whole case. Especially if they are RCWs. They are few and far between. So I'm officially throwing my hat in the ring.
