eu rations similar

Hi guys
The european (read Dutch, German and French) rations (main dish) are rather similar since they come from the same producer/factory.
I tought (but will check it with the 'box'/meals of my rations) that the ROEK rations were from Gemrany and the regular Dutch main dishes come from France. I'll check for the names as well.
I'm not at home this week so it'll take some time. Perhaps someone else is better informed

Those are some great photos. That is a serious ration. It sure has a lot of stuff in it. I can't read most of it, though. Maybe when you get some time, you could tell us what some of the items are.
As I´m home this week, I did it "real quick" for you...

I´m sorry but:
these are the current German main dishes:
(replaced this:)
these are the current dutch main dishes:

can & bag
these are current french main dishes:

(very delicious!!)
These main dishes are not regular:

They are freeze-dried, just add hot water.
Left one with paper label, German version. Description comes in four languages. One
EPa leicht (light) contains 8 of them for four soldiers, to feed them one day.
The right one is the international version, with out paper label, printed in english only.
The name of them is
Travellunch, manufactured by the German company
Reiter in Augsburg, Bavaria.
Actually made for trekking and mounten climbers, but also now issued for the Bundeswehr (German Army) with the
EPa leicht. But in use at missions only (like Afghanistan etc.)
Jealousy is a bitch.

OMFG.. stop posting all those badass pictures! I'm so jealous, I can't even remember to win an auction when I have the chance, and you have everything! Ridiculous! I took some pix of the veggie burger I had the other day, but not only has it been done, it's american.. I need to get a PO box in Europe before I go visit, buy a crapload of rats and have them mail them to it for saving shipping and just bring them all back with me.. I wonder if thats possible..

Thank you, thank you, thank you. That is awesome. It is very clear to me now what everything in the package is, except the "unox". I have no idea what that is. Still, that is no fault of your photos. They are great. Thanks again for taking thew ime to take them and label them.

Unox is a Dutch brand. The small cans usually contain liver paté.
PS. Thanks for the update on the rations guys.

first of all: Thank you Norge

, That's is similar to my #3 ration.
Second, lifesaver and housil, a small addition to you great work with the pictures and contents of the arctis rations: the white rectangular shaped bag on the bottom of the picture is a "chewing brush"(kauwborstel). It's sort of a toothbrush that you can chew on. It's looks like the head of a tooth brush and there 's toothpaste on/in it. (stuck on a seperate 'stick')size is about 1 cm or half inch.
Hoping to be of any help.
bye Nawt.
