Jalapeno is the best cheese. All IMO. MRE cheese isn't exactly the best cheese in the world LOL but I eat what's in the bag.
Unless it's vegetarian penne pasta.
That vegetarian penne pasta was about the worst Menu B option I can think of.

I couldn't agree more. Tried it twice. Made me feel sick.
I love the smell of 2 stroke oil and MRE coffee in the morning!
I like to eat the peanut butter directly. Whenever I combine it with the bread or crackers, it really makes me thirsty. So I use the cheese spread for bread and crackers. The normal cheese spread is okay, but it's no match for the jalapeno cheese spread. I can't stand it when the cheese spread is greasy, so I usually just don't eat it in that case, unless I'm incredibly hungry.
Cheese spread I like the flavor of better than the PB especially when used with the vegetable crackers. Although if I'm out hiking and hot I'll take the PB first as the cheese puts me in full loogie mode.
Just got a new version of cheese spread. I though there was only plain and Jalapeno, but it turns out that there is a 3rd. Cheese spread with Bacon, I'm looking forward to trying it.

Jeff
technically, there's 4 versions.
Cheese spread
Cheese spread with Jalapeno
Cheese spread with Bacon
and the nasty Cheese spread/soup base with potato bacon flavor, or whatever name it was given.
I have to preface this by noting, as I've done in other posts, that in terms of edible delivery of calories, both are fine - the peanut butter is far better than the "cheese". I've had both, and I would eat either, but the peanut butter lasts longer, and tastes like real peanut butter.
