It seems that you guys have been successful getting rations from this lithuania.post seller, which is good to see as having tried a Lithuanian MRE I wanted more so currently have a small mix of them ordered from that seller

Hello again! I myself have had a dry ration, and I do say they are delicious! They are single meals that are smaller than smaller than standard US MREs. Usually they have low prices but shipping is what really hurts the bank account. Here is overview that someone posted a while back! These Lithuanian dry rations are somewhat similar to US MREs. it's due to them being part of NATO. NATO members must shape their militarizes to meet certain specifications in case war arises. rations also need to meet certain specifications, such as daily nutritional needs, size, and weight of certain rations. Notot all NATO countries use MREs (Many use boxed 24 Hour rations) you will see that nutritional requirements are printed a variety of languages.

Although not all countries are part of NATO (obviously) but some till base their specifications and requirements off of North American and European nutritional standards. China, for example manufactures their own MRE that uses FRH's (flame-less ration heaters) along with Japan and South Korea. Russia produces a wide range of rations (known as IRP's) these are often of high quality and are common favorite on the forums. Many countries produce rations to fit their wants and needs. Buying/trading/ and eating them are a fun way to try new foods and to learn about different cultures and countries-especially when camping or their main intentions (not in war,but in nature).

I've purchased from Lithuania Post multiple times, and have been very pleased with them. I like the Lithuanian rations a lot, especially their crackers / biscuits!

Great to hear you've also successfully bought from that seller. I'm looking forward to getting some more, hoping it arrives soon. I like the way the meals are set up in those, simple and robust/hearty. It's like traditional Irish food but different enough to be interesting. Different recipes and ingredients but the same idea hearty food like stews with meat and lots of carbs for a cold climate and hard work

Definitely! They are good meals, and the flameless ration heaters that come with the Lithuanian rations are awesome. They work a lot better than the US MRE ones, in my opinion.

Just received my first Lithuanian ration which I ordered as a trial run from Lithuania.post .

I love the crackers in these. The mains are hearty and full of flavor. Buy more.
