So, here are the latest details I have been able to get. The package left the U.S. and was rejected by the carrier it was handed off to as being undeliverable, damaged, return to sender. Further reasons were not stated. So it must have been opened by customs when coming back into the U.S. to be returned to me.

Thus adding to my frustration. inwont be able to file an insurance claim because the PO won't be able to determine if the package was damaged while in their care or by the other carrier, or by customs.

oh man, sorry to hear that, id still file the claim, send it to both, worst they can say is no?
