Wow guys thanks for all the cool info. It's cool to stile up some new thoughts on old posts. I'm still just amazed by those pictures :shock: very,very awesome. It's cool to know that there is still awesome rations undiscovered out there some where. It's definitely food for thought.

It's there. At the old Cooke Barracks, one of them, anyway. I've seen the openings. My BN. CDR. LTC. Ed Shirron even made mention of it, and told us it was Top-Secret, and off limits. There always was a superior U.S. Army MP force stationed at Gerp, when I was there, 1986-1987. They were armed with H und K submachine guns, and guarding some weird places on the kaserne, out in Spaeder Woods. Oh well, history. :idea:

Also, Ollie, I still have map of Cooke/flugplatz and surrounding area. 'Somewhere'. I can pin-point 2 openings to underground secret entry points. 2 were on the Kaserne, 2+ outside the fence, in Spaeder woods.

Yea, I know, but, it's a long run up the Hohenstaufen mountain. Theres one hole on some farmers property, he would not let us on his property.
