Those good ol' fashined days of the Cold War.....too bad that Yeltsin was in the CIA's payroll and accelerated the fall of the CCCP....if they wouild have let Gorbachev and his ideas of "glasnost and perestroika " prosper in the USSR, it would have been another story. ....but that's history!!!

@Housil: as Cracker did, I make an invitation for you to come to Romania, when you'll like, to see the things first hand. You're welcome at me.

@Cracker: without joking, you earned my respect, mate. You did for Romania much more than our incompetent politicians and inneficient Ministry of Foreign Affairs did. Thank you.

 i doubt it.. it's only a forum

But housil is right about the criminality, he just can't really judge it first hand because he only sees the bad part
They should simply punish foreign criminals a lot harder. They come for the money, so simply take that money if they do something wrong. Can't pay? We'll take your car. Don't have a car? Then their ass should go in jail

Europe has a problem with being political correct.
If you call a black person black, it's already a shame in the Netherlands. It's a coloured fellow human!
We have a problem with Maroccan youth.. All they do is building clubs, soccerfields and youthhouses for those person, instead of punishing them..

Moral of the story:

Western Europe is being a pussy, and "invites" criminals from all over the world.
Crime profits are extremely high, punishments are not only low, but simply to laugh about compared to eastern european law.

Our jails are like hotels! TV with 3 channels, your own toilet and shower, a radio, a comfortable bed (special beds for people with back problems or a handicap/age) and some even get a playstation!.. and you can choose your meal per dag, out of 5 meals.. (microwave meals from catering companies.. or kitchen prepared meals in the bigger jails)

Europemadness

That's the one and only reason why we have so much problems with foreign criminals..
Sure, someone may one day kill me with my own gun.
But they'll have to beat me to death with it because it's empty.

I LOVE to be politically incorrect. If is gypsy, I call them gypsy. This is the problem: minorities have much more rights than majority! What the hell?

So, I, an ex-communist country east-european, I ask you, the democratic westerners, why a gay, gypsy or black have more rights than ourselves? How they earned?

And this is (almost) no joke.

There is something called "positive discrimination" around here.
It means that minorities are more likely to be accepted.. like by an job interview.

If a normal white guy, a woman, a black guy, a gay person, a handicapped person come to an job interview, and have equal qualifications.. the "weakest" is accepted.

Like.. what?! It's to PREVENT discrimination.. but, I, as a healthy, white, normal guy.. am being discriminated..

You just got to love europe...

My car insurance company does not allow me to drive with a BMW X3 into ANY easter european country - gues why... :?

See, that´s another difference. Calling a "Sinti & Roma" over here a "gypsy" (Zigeuner), you will get in trouble for sure! Minorities can report any "offender" to the authority for an "insult" and you will get punished. Doesn´t metter if he is a gypsy or not. The word "Zigeuner" has a bad heritage as it was a reason during Nazi-Germany for peoples to be sent into concentration camps (KZ) . So calling a Zigeuner a "Zigeuner", the jewish community rises up offening you for using Nazi-terms and offend a minority. They sue you for paying x€ as a penalty. btw. you can´t even call here someone a "jew" or joking like in US-shows about typicall jewish habbits for the same reason...

They were oppressed for so long time, they demand it as compensation.
That´s why we, Germany, are still paying to Israel. We the post Nazi generation are still paying to post KZ-victims generation compansation... (to fight their war own against Palestina - but don´t let start another topic about, let´s enjoy a Nutella bread  )

I'm very sorry, but I'm not opressing anybody. So, I think I don't need to pay for things which had happened before I was born. So, if they are gypsyes, I call them gypsy. If they don't like, ask for court.

Here is full of X5, X3, Mercedes ML, Audi Q7 & Q5... We called them "cocalar's cars", the Cocalar being the term for "nouveau riches", with poor background, no education and who want to show his/her money. more about you'll find here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manele#Manele_fashion

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chav

So, take your Iltis. You'll be a colour spot on romanian roads and will atract much more atention than with your BMW (nice car, BTW :))

And why any comment regarding Romania make me reacting? I'm over-reacting? Please forgive if I'm hurting someone.

HAHA, I've seen the same houses in Ukraine, the Ukrainians called them "dom mafiy" (mafia's house)
