Re: First Strike Rations for sale on UK EBAY!!

Hello guys,
Just to stick my oar in.
Firstly, I *think* there is an agreement between the US Gov and the suppliers (Sopakco etc etc) not to ship the milspec rations direct to the US (civilian wise), thats why they built their own clear bag version to differentiate the product from the US milspec version. This is from conversations between various people and I don't know 100% its a fact. But from my experience this rings true. I have a feeling this might be a gentlemens agreement between the companies and the Gov. *EDIT* I just read what Fman wrote.
Secondly, the FSR's I sourced are 'proper' FSR's. And definately 100% not stolen from a front line unit, no soldier is going to go hungry because we took their food. Besides Iraq or Afghanistan is a bit of a trek from here. Thats one of the reasons I don't sell UK rations, not because I can't get any. Its just because, unlike the US, UK has only one real manufacturing plant thats running at full stretch to cope with the demand.
Thirdly, I have been in conversation with Sopakco and also the deadly US and UK customs to get some rations into the UK that are fresh from the factory. OK most of them might only be civ spec (and vegetarian!!) but they will be over here for the enjoyment of all.
