I cannot think that military-secrets information is included in those pictures.
However, I was not taking into consideration a possibility that a man with malice would look at a picture.
I think that those pictures were defenseless.
At least, I should have hidden their face and name tag.

Lauging_man,

Hey, I have talked this over with Kman to some extent and we both feel there was nothing wrong your photos or my comments to be exact. In fact I stand behind my comments from a earlier posting. I feel that I was merely tying to help out a poster with a question.

If everybody did read my statement I put at the end of the posting that in NO WAY am I an expert and that if somebody knows something else or can post some other findings to my statements then feel free to post them. Obviously, Dealer, or whoever you are, took that the wrong way and decided to post a rebutal which wasn't called for. If you had a problem, then you should have taken it up with the webmaster: Kman. If you want to post your comments then do so in a constructive manner, all the posters here are grownups and we all act accordingly. We also have some rules around here that we follow, we expect you to do the same!

For everyone else I apologize that this has got so out of line. I seriously believe I was not posting any material that was harmful. For some people that I have personally had business relations with on and off the forum, I believe that you guys know me to be a very good, outstanding person; and humble to say the least. This poster, Dealer, was way out of line in my opinion.

kman, Bypah, Treesuit,
Your opinion is reasonable.
Possibly consideration of my reaction was insufficient.
I believe that my question and my picture are never what poses a threat of a U.S. army.
I posted the picture again.
However, I did the mask of a part of picture so that they might not suffer a disadvantage.

Wow, I've been gone a month and this happens LOL!!!

When I read Dealer's post I thought you guys gave away some secret information to the "enemy" by, posting those pictures.

I don't think any of the information that was given by the posters was sensitive in any way.

I kind-of get what Dealer is saying but, I definitely disagree with Dealers assumption in thinking that discussion in a public forum about any military issues are a matter of national security. Especially with the level of common and general information that was stated in the forum.

All I'm saying is why worry about a few MRE junkies talking about the colors of berets when you can go to your local Barnes and Nobles or Borders and pick yourself up multiple copies of Military field, survival, escape and evasion, special forces and many other official manuals.

Better yet, you can go onto the net and download all the military manuals...but, I guess what I just posted helped the terrorists too???

A cardinal rule of war, battle, fight or confrontation is don't underestimate your enemy. Some people think that we're fighting camel-humping, sand-loving, stone-age hoddgies. Realistically those men live in the deserts in rags, eating rice, sleeping on the sand...those men are hard men, some our our guys bitch when they don't get a pop-tart in their MRE's.
Remember that we're in a war with the same people that Alexander the Great, the Romans and even the mighty Soviets could not take over. That doesn't mean I don't support my brothers over there but, those facts make me respect the enemy.

Oh and by the way....what makes you think that the "enemy" doesn't already have the information that we talked about? We're not fighting some AK-toting idiots, these guys take out M-1's and defend against or hold-up some of our finest fully mechanized units...Some of those hoddgies know what they're doing.

Hi Mkim..Welcome back!

That's the problem we underestimate our oponent plus we don't respect it.
That's a cardinal rule in any combat situation ,martial arts etc. "Respect the abilities of your enemy...Don't underestimate him..."

It goes as far as Sun Tzu in his milanry "Art of War".....
Opppsss...did I brach our "Operational Security"?????

Peace!
