Oh yeah, I saw a few of them during my time in the sand box. I'm just glad somebody at Natick got rid of them. That MRE was terrible and practically useless. Same goes for the Tuna With Noodles.

it looks like they had "Frankfurters and Beans" from 1981-1987. And then from 1993-2000, they brought back the Frankfurters only but called them various things such as:
Smoky Beef Frankfurters
Smoky Frankfurters
Beef Franks
Beef Frankfurters
and of course, my favorite:
Four Fingers of Death
