Today I opened a spare Cherry nut cake packed in 1986 I had laying around.
don't know how it have been stored before my storage but It was surprisingly good. the nuts was a bit dark but not bitter, could taste the cherry's real nice so it was just like the old times

I just had a maple nut cake that Steve sent me awhile back, held up real well actually, and was FANTASTIC! I will forgive him for not sending me a pineapple nut cake . Now those ones are to die for. I'd eat a million of em if I had some.

All these pound cakes they do, they need to bring these nut cakes back to liven it up more imo.
