No, it wasn't me who ordered the ration/claymore from norge - must have been someone else on the forums. But I figured we'd hear about it eventually.

That Russian ration is almost in my impulse buy price range, but not quite.
I hope whoever gets will eat it and post a review.

That sucker sure has a lot of small crackers in it. Can probably hear their troops eating from a kilometer away!
And too bad they haven't discovered the fact that.....

You would pay close to $75 for an individual ration? From Russia?

Personally, I'd be inclined to avoid it at any price just from the
review that is posted on this site. And that doesn't even preclude the fact that I'd be less than trusting of transactions to/from former Soviet Union countries.
Maybe there might be some sort of collector value to it, but for that kind of money, you could get a whole case of fresh domestic MREs. I'd just find it hard to justify ... but then I'm not a collector either

No need to review the Russian ration, after all. I just found the great review in the information section that "Thomas" submitted. He's covered it all.
I can't stop laughing at this picture. Dig in!

Cruelty to animals...
But the white "layers" are usually (cold) fat, like in old c-rats. It turns clear and liquide after warming up.
Or any other suggestions...
