Been a while since I posted on this thread. Here are some updates with the 2018 Supper menu changes.

Menu #15 Poutine: Addition of Crunchy BBQ Mix

Menu #17 Indian Chicken: Vanilla Drink Mix has been exchanged for Chocolate Drink Mix

Menu #18 Shepherd's Pie: Identical other than new Ketchup packets

Menu #21 Turkey Strips with Orange Sauce: Addition of Chocolate Nut Mix

Any future info will be added to this post.

Edits:

Menu #20 Beef and Vegetable Stew: Beef jerky has been replaced with Crunchy BBQ Mix. Soldier Fuel Bar has been exchanged for an MRE Performance Bar, still Peanut Butter flavor.

Menu #16 Spaghetti and Meatballs: Identical to 2017 aside from a second peanut butter.

Menu #19 Lamb and Vegetable Stew: As it is a new menu, there are no differences to document. Instead, I'll post a photo of the menu contents. (Dessert label is slightly obscured, it's Sliced Apples)

I love beef jerky, for a while British ORP had them and I was collecting them off the troops that didn't like them and built up a decent stockpile.

The IMP with beef jerky would be the holy grail for me.

Aka: Rocks, Vacuum Packed. or "Tooth Destroying Jerky"

Doesn't taste bad, though, just don't want to try to eat it in one go. A tanker I know likes it on turret watch because it takes so long to eat. He says it mostly gets thrown away by other troops. Another tip is they mix it with the hot sauce packet and wait, usually heating it up.

Interesting, I guess Canadian jerky is manufactured differently from British jerky.
