Wow, I can't believe I'm the only one that noticed the gubbmint shortsheeting everyone on the coffee ration from 2.5 to 2.2 grams. That stuff was ground fine and strong. Not the tastiest stuff in the world by any means, but it WOULD wake a feller up. And that's what it's for. The "Tasters Choice" and "Diahrea" is a pale imitation of the good ole Type II, and at least when they had ciggies in the rations everyone knew what bathroom to use.
