That happens. At least it's not two Country Captain Chickens.
I consider these mutant MRE cases. I've also seen mutant MREs where they accidently put in two wheat snack breads or maybe two cookies when there should only have been one.

actually, thats what you got in your case. I think the brown cases have chili with beans, and the full color cases have the noodles with pasta.
edit: one more thing, the spaghetti and the beef stew ones are 1lb 4oz, but eveything else is 1lb 1oz. lol, maybe they just want extra crackers.

A-Pack menu has continually evolved since they began production last year.
The Chili was one of my favorites and it has been recently replaced.
If you have further questions I am quite familiar with the product and can be reached via my website, look my guide up online or PM me here.
A-Pack is good stuff and a great choice for anyone wanting to prepare.

You are right, they are called
pretzel sticks, but ours are approx. 15cm (half a foot or 6 inch) long, but very "slim" ...

Hey mxjf - let me take back what I was saying earlier about "mutant cases". I forgot we were talking about the aPacks and not the regular MRE cases. Those aPacks come with 6 menus, 2 MREs each per menu - so nothing odd there.
SoFloAuthor - thanks for the tip about the aPack menus changing. I just took a look at their website (
http://www.readymeal.com ) and saw that they replaced the "Chili w/Beans" with "Pasta with Garden Vegetables in Tomato Sace".
And while I'm mentioning aPacks...one gripe: what are they smoking over there that they think those pictures on their website look anything like the real entrees? I think their entrees taste great but come one...MRE spaghetti looks nothing like this:

spaghetti

And you believe all the other ads ?
This?

Or the smashed piece of sh*t you actually get ?

Good point, dirtbag. Maybe I was just expecting more from them. At least the other places that sell entrees online offer up real pictures of what they look like. Heck...even I believe that MREs are best eaten when you can't really see them in too much detail.

I think it was dirtydave that once said: "the best tip on eating mre's is to not look at what you're eating."
Best tip EVER.
I've never seen any food item that looks exactly like the ad. exept maybe ice cream from dairy queen.
