BTW, remember our BASIC FOOD GROUP patch? While on vacation last week in Charleston, SC, placed it on my backpack and WOW the great comments I received!

I´ve been last year in Charleston SC to see the USS Yorktown at patriots point.

I´ve been last year in Charleston SC to see the USS Yorktown at patriots point.
housil - You, Sir, are an international traveler... that's so cool... we did that as well... we didn't get to see the sub as the beloved brides didn't want to go down hatches... my father was a cook on a sub right after WWII so I really wanted to see what it was like for him... took a private horse carriage ride through downtown Charleston (highly recommend)... so much history.

My father was a chef back in the 1960 on a cruise ship of "Royal Carribean" and was in Charleston too :D

That's so cool! My father was offered a job on one of the cruise lines when he retired but had had enough of "ocean life".

Yes, got your mail but didn´t have any time to answer yet (our Inet connection at work failed) so I do today :wink:
