Jambalaya, but I just ate one, and it's spicy and has a lot of rice built in. I picked thru it and could find only 2 of those microscopic shrimps. They seem to camo themselves into the rice. Plenty of little bitty ham squares in the mix. Overall, I gave it B minus. Filling, spicy as heck and swell, if your a Cajun, or from Lousiana, or Bayou LaBatterie. Bubba would give it a higher score.

I just recently got a November 2004 case B, and I have some different entrees than are listed above. Probably because of how late in year mine was packaged.

I am in the process of writing reviews of not only the Entree's but all of the other food items included in each MRE as well. You can see the ones I've done already at the link in my signature. I also have a separate review page for the SOPAKCO Civvy ones.. many of the items cross over, some don't.

I don't see your reviews. Can you copy/paste them here or give us a direct link to them?

We've Got Rib!

Post by DangerousDave »

We've Got Rib!. Hey Kman, now that I got Rib, I'm scared to open it. I'm afraid I might like the Clam Chowder, and then Dirty Dave will come up here and beat me up. From a Wornick case I just got from Ebay auction, Oct/03 packed. :?

Pork Rib Review

Post by DangerousDave »

:o The Clam Chowder was like the old Potato's Au Gratin, with chunks of clam meat instead of cheese. I liked it. The Pork Rib was Superb. Was I suppossed to use the 2 breads to make a Sandwich? Or sop up the sauce from the Rib and the chowder? Or use 1 for the cheese pack and???. I don't know. :? Overall, I give the meal an A.
