Both caraway seeds and cumin seeds come from plants in the "Apiaceae" family the seeds look very, very similar.

My vote still goes to caraway :)
Though after reading the article on wikipedia I'm starting to wonder whether the manufacturers themselves actually know what they've put in those biscuits :D
You're right my friend. I know what we pack into this panzerwaffles :). The recipe for these crackers is the same for the last 30-40 years. In this days there was no cumin in common use in Poland. The cumin taste is rather associated with Indian/Arabic dishes
