Hey guys...I am working on it...really sucks..the guy I made a deal with his package got shredded by customs yesterday in Germany..lost 6 rations.. Working with him to lessen the blow..only right in my book.. so gonna see next 2 or 3 days. I will get back to you on this!

They are exactly one year old mate I also just got a case of PD 02/16. It seems they become more and more available now. Not selling any of the mine though.

From what I've been told its 2 years then surplus,the best before is 2 years on the meals now (health and safety) my local surplus store only had 2014 packs, never expected 1 year old packs to be available now and certainly not that side of the pond Its better than what I can get
I'm guessing the wind down after Afghan left them with a back log and they are doing it early. I got given a pack by a mate last week that he didn't use and it was November 2015 dated

Wish I could find 2015 or 16 MRES in the UK, some sellers still have the older designed bags for sale claiming they are new.

Have a buddy training with some Brits here in the states. He scored me three ORPs with DOP of 6/16 from them.

As concerns designs on bags, Wornick and Ameriqual both buy their bags 200,000 at a time. The bag design being older for some menus may be from overstock on the manufacturers part. Look for the DoP markings on the top or bottom of the bag.
