The entire concept just seems wrong to me. What's down tbe road? Admitting that a big mac is already shelf stable?

Next year, plans call for the Army to cut the pork rib, chicken pesto pasta, fried rice, wheat snack bread, turkey nuggets, raisin nut mix, fudge brownie and Ranger bar options from its menu.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... two of my faves... received 6 pork rib entrees last week... will order more and the raisin nut mix.

I'm in agreement with RockyRaab, pizza is no biggie personally but it is for the guys & gals in the field.

I can tell you as a soldier personally pizza sounds amazing I just don't think it would be great in the field especially just one slice, thinking from a caloric intake needs side.

Heresy in it's most plain form! Better stock up on those MREs and components and store them long term in a freezer for good measure. I hope they replace those food items with new and better options. The burrito bowl and meat sticks look promising.

Not that my input matters in any way, because I'm not really in the target group for US rations (or any rations for that matter), but YES!
Of course they'll probably just replace it with some other Bridgford slab of preservatives Or will they?

Try Ellios' frozen Pizza, the square ones. That's what they are attempting. The 'Ranger Bar' was one of the best items ever, and so rare, wonder why. Only 1 in any case. leave it to the idiots to get it wrong, and discontinue it.
