Something seems slightly strange in the photo, the lettering on the box is slightly distorted when you look at it larger, where the lettering on the contents looks normal. Maybe it's nothing, but I can't help but notice it.

You are right, that labeling is photo shopped! The box has a knick, the printing doesn´t follow that. The contets are also not a Typ 4, they show and "old" Romanian number typ without the freezedried desert and muesli.

Yes, it´s a German EPa, but he faked the labeling to a newer "Typ 4" so you bought a ~€20 for €35  but the descriptions say:Packed in 2014. So let´s see what you get. Once you have it, show me again.

Yes, it could be that he did not want to open one to take the pictures of the contents. Let us know when it arrives.

Forgive my ignorance, but since I'm really new to this, exactly what about the photos of the Spanish rations is it that makes you see they are fake? Is it the photo of the contents?
What is "the infamous fake bag" ? The white one or one of the two green ones?
I saw some spanish MRE reviews and they seem delicious, so if I can learn what to avoid that would be great. Thanks :)

I questioned him about these accusations..He said he sells both military and civilian branded rations..any one that he states is military has not been touched and is exactly what comes in the ration..He said the ones he states as civilian is a mix of both military components and commercial components to make a full ration. He said every item he posts clearly states if its for military or civilian. So there's the answer to this guy's antics..I looked real quick at a few listings and they do all state military or civilian..Hope this helps!
