I have an update for everyone on this thread...

Back in September I tried all the contact info I could dig up but unfortunately had no luck in getting any responses.

Then just today, I heard from the daughter and son-in-law of Paul Vescovo that a cousin of theirs had found this posting and they wanted to get in touch with us about getting their father's dog tags back. I just got off the phone with them.

While I'm happy we were finally able to connect with his family, I'm terribly sad to report that Paul passed away just a few days ago on June 30, 2017.

I've sent a PM to CRO CSO to see if we can still get the dog tags to his family.
