Great story! I'm going on a hiking trip this July at Red River Gorge in kentucky and i'm bring some MREs (possibly an IRP to) along for the trip. And it looks like I might bring chem-lights too!

A gennies the last thing on my list. Ill be picking one up in the next year.


Buy a used one, make the owner show you it works before buying it. If you have no mechanical skill any lawn mower repair guy can check it and service it. I'd recommend a propane conversion kit. If you leave gas in it for any amount of time it will ruin it. Propane lasts forever and a few 30/40 pound tanks can last you days.
