This Danish Ration is really high quality - and it has some products that are also in the UK ORP's like the Orifo Brand drink mixes.

Beautiful scenery there Housil! That pic with your bike makes a nice scenario for enjoying that delicious looking protein bar!

I had an Orifo Tuna W Lime & Pepper this past weekend camping and I just ate it straight out of pouch no utensil and it was a nice 20 gram serving of protein out hiking. Fresh fish flavor and the pepper & lime made for a nice tangy flavorful experience makes my mouth water thinking of it.

Those tasty looking Pate's look a lot like a Dutch 24 hr rat 2009 DoP that I had back in 2013 (Sadly I was a goof and never took pics shame on me!!) the Pork Meat & Liver looks like the best - but all 3 look great.

Fruit Dessert looks almost like a cross between the MRE Blueberry Cobbler filling and Strawberry Jam. Also looks really satisfying!

So far, this review is fantastic - and it makes me want to keep an eye out for a modern Danish Ration!

You're right housil, that toffee bar does look a lot like the MCI fudge disc, I think they came in 3 varieties; chocolate fudge, vanilla fudge, and toffee. Of course it was different from the toffee disc with the chocolate bits which came in the aluminum foil type wrapping. One thing I was curious about though---- on the wrapper I noticed that one of the ingredients looked like sorbitan(?) and I'm wondering if that might be some kind of artificial sweetener.

So today I had the crackers

Looked like the British ones

But were a little different in taste.

Compared to the British ones, these ones are less "sweet" and they were very "dry", but at least "OK".

Housil the dinner looks like it is very good. I am not curry expert and am puzzled with the flavor. Here in the USA it is most often a strong hot flavor. People hear the word curry and think spicy flavor. Cocconut sound like a rich sauce for a millitary entree. The meat spread with German Rye would fit my tastes for a luch time on the river bank.
Seems the Danes go first class. Did it have a coffee rpacket? if so did you try it yet?

A very nice "lemon" flavour and lucky me, just one little pepper corn
As I had these ones, I ran into these at a Walmart in Miami and had to buy them

You told me about those, Housil! Remember when I had mentioned I had brought one of those UK ORP 24hr Orifo Lemon Pepper & Tunas with me and you had said you located the same thing in the grocery store? You weren't kidding! They even make them look "military" with the woodland camo! I think that is actually pretty funny - really cool too!

You will have to compare it to the Orifo Lemon Pepper Tuna for us! :)
