Oatmeal Cookie & Granola Bar (Sterling Baking Company)

Had the Iced tea with my Granola bars... hmmm blissfully good and everything was so fresh! Now the tea is a little bit hard to mix and it looks a little murky in the cup but it tasted excellent and 4 1/2 hours later I'm great!

I'm going to have more reviews in 2-3 days on a whole new thread when I get 4 more RCW 1989 packs in the mail! Yeeehaww!

I tried one of those fig bars awhile back it had to be early 90's dated. I did notice a color change but it tasted ok, Just dry! Is was in the standard white package though. Also the Brownie chocolate covered sometimes gets an odd smell to it? I guess the nuts inside it do go bad. The M&M's usually end up dry and crumbly and the granola bars sometimes taste a little odd but are definitely edible! Never had any odd taste's out of the oatmeal cookie bar.

Hey Norge! I Think this is the first time I've talked to you and all I wanna say is thankyou for all of the awesome pics that you've posted I love all of them! You are the person who gave me the courage to eat old food! hehehe

I've enjoyed 1989 and 1998 RCW's including the entrees. Here's some pictures of a Blueberry Bar (I've sought after these for a long time now I've had my first one today.) and I will also have to show you my 1998 Beef Stew!

More 1989 Rafco Freeze Dried RCW pics... The Trail Mix nuts were dry and smelled a little odd and fruity... I ate a couple and they tasted a little off... knew it wasn't a good idea eating them all... don't worry it was still actually safe to eat I think because I had a 1991 Banana Nut Cake where the nuts were so rancid my tongue swelled up. Whoops! Just as long as I don't get sick! :D

P.S. the chocolate bar smelled and tasted a little funny but it didn't matter I still enjoyed eating the whole darn thing! Let's see how I feel in the mornin'! heheh :P
