Do you mean it's forbidden or even verboten (much worst!

It´s allowed carry pocket knives in Germany, but the Bw pocket knife is a "Einhandmesser", which means its blade can be opened with one hand (theoretically) and therefore it´s forbidden to carry one in public.
When the Victorinox pocket knife was slowly introduced into the Bw many soldiers who travelled back home in uniform carried it with them since it belongs to a soldiers equipment and some less Bw-friendly cops used to search them and pressed charges against them because of violations of the German weapon law.

Just thought I'd post an actual picture of my Charge TTi.
To the right of it is my Old kick, and to the left is the MOLLE sheath with the full bit kit.

I gave one to Adrian, but I believe he lost it..
(the "bread knife" is a seatbelt cutter.. needless to say, soldiers don't eat seatbelts, so it is used as a bread knife)

My father lost it, not me. I gave him an Victorinox Rucsack (the red, civil one), and seems he lost this too... I hate when someone don't care about knives, I think these are the most valuable tools ever made...
