Flight info

Captbob, you are correct on no/no foods for flight. I dated a flight attendant (waitress in the sky) for 5 years. She had some funny stories. X # of people crammed into a round container with recycled air = potential problems. Code name for passengers with "problems: was GB's or gass-bellys!

The earlier MRE's that included beans had that warning. The frankfurter entree had a pack of beans. I don't recall the other meals with the"Not for pre-flight/ in-flight use". Did we have any food engineers in Uncle Sam's Service in those days? What is with that? I notice that beans are not primary in any current MRE's. There is one heck of a lot of Mexican dishes though. Well, anyone? :wink:
