Maybe you can get some picturs of the kids with MRE's... We all know liks love them....

yes its a greate stove,i have use gasoline,diesel,cerosin,wood
and it heats good.
in the summer time i never use a stove in the tent,only a smal stove for
heating water and food.
here is a picture from saturday,we didnt go to the woods
since we had to much dry snow that makes it hard for the kids
to ski in or even use the snow shoes...

so we made a lunch outside,can of spagetti with meat sausage.
the kids didnt complain eating outside

is this the optimus hiker fuel stove?

yes its the optimus 111,the one the norwegian army uses.
this one is multifuel type,you need to change the needle and seat if you use
gasoline or white fuel(naptha)
not when using diesel,kerosine,lamp oil,white spirit
or other diesel famely oils.

its a bit heavy but it heats food and water in no time for a 10 man team.
heating a tent is no problem to,you can wear a t shirt afther a hour heating
in minus 30 celsius.(did it in the army)

but they cost shit lj3r 09u in norway,about 250 to 300 $.

I bought a Brand new 111 (multi-fuel Roarer) from him several years ago.
The 'Official' Norwegian Army stove does cost more, It has the Olive drab paint job.
I have:
1- new 111
1-111b (gasoline only version)
1-111c (cobra burner)
2 111T (silent multifuel)
Best stove ever made, in my opinion!
Ken collects Militaria and Rations.
I collect Stoves and Rations (and cast iron fry pans, and ...)

its a lot smaler than the 111 model.








i put the mre matches there as a size mesure,i didnt find my inch ruler.

there is no pump since it burnes white fuel naptha,but you need to preheat it
just like the 111 but when heated and burning the fuel vapors just like gas
up to the burner.

i painted it camo when i fresh up my 111 army model,the original
blue paint was not good.green was better

this is a optimus 10 'Ranger'
I believe what you have is a Russian clone of the swedish optimus 8R.
Good little stove, but its parts are not interchangable with the 8R
