We have Aldi here in the Uk as well, but I can't remember ever seeing canned bread there.
I heard that German supermarkets also have canned meals that are very similar to the EPA entrees?
Speaking of which, are there any brands of civilian MRE sold in Europe?

Thanks for reply housil! The bunker photo reminds me of photos I've seen here in America of shut down AT&T bunkers, very small and business-like! BTW what does Regiersbunker translate to? Actually the kitchen in the photo u put up looks better than some I've seen. Any idea where this bunker is or can u say?

No problem

Hi Housil- I'm sorry you had to trash your EPA desserts.
I had a 2002 "Typ III" case and the dessert pudding containers were all a little puffy. They weren't swollen stiff, so I thought this was normal for the packaging. Ate 3 so far and they were tasty.

Ive seen German preserved rye bread in our supermarket, but it was a couple of years ago.
It wasnt canned, but was in a orange - yellow coloured plastic type wrapping.
There were 8 slices I think.
Seemed to be ok for 6 months. I wish I had bought some

Hi,
longe time to busy to write a post.
sometime i make a phone call with housil and so he told me last time about his EPA 2002 problem.
i checked all my epa´s about some swollen desert, find nothing.
mayby the conditions of storage is better than housils, because my basement is very cold. in former times it was used to store wine.
nevertheless i will watch out if something gets swollen.
