That tent on pic 3, how do they hold in weather (especially hot and wet weather?)
They seem to be quite good "hiking sized" tents.. And are they suitable for forrest floors (with little twigs, branches, small stones etc)
Currently I don't do camping (actually háte it..)
I only do "biwak" or hikingsleep (lightweight)
using a Dutch army puptent.. or a bilaminaat (tri laminate/goretex like) sleepingbagcover (!) on a BW.. isomat..
On vacation we always rent a rentalhome (tiny one most of the time..

)
Because my girl is allergic to dampness, cold, warmth, bugs, natural noises in the woods at night, sand, canned food, nature, nonbottled water, fieldbeds, sleepingbags and camouflage..
She also has the worst case of can't-go-out-of-the-house-without-proper-makeup-and-showering syndrome you've ever seen.
And I don't hate the camping itself, I hate it to make it up to my girl again ("Oh.. let's go shopping!.. Oh.. Those are suuuch nice shoes.. Ohh.. let's go out for dinner!")
And yes, it was my own choice. But she has some good sides aswell..
Like.. ehh.. Hmm? There are simply sooo many that I can't even think of them
I love bad weather, but I hate to wake up wet/damp.. it simply breaks the day..
I don't really care about getting cold, wet, dirty etc.. as long as I can sleep and wake dry.
But I had some bad experiences with tents (along with my girlfriend.. actually started a relationship after camping)
So I'm not sure why I always say camping vacations simply suck..
