simply repacked travellunch items, probably by the shops themselves..
this is a really bad accusation

Hmm that is kinda bad news, although I think Armyrations.co.uk would probibly have the proper ones in stock.......eventually
But as for those shops selling "knock off" FSR's I guess they must think because its kinda unlawfull to sell on FSR's anyways,
they can make a cheap imitation and get away with it.
I mean if you got one and wernt happy with it, who are ya going to complain to? the US DoD?
I guess buying from shops reccomended here on these forums, or even members that want to trade stocks,is safer than your local shop is nowadays.

Also found repacked MREs as "FSR".
in the Netherlands rations aren't very common. Only the dutch ones.
Especially the dried stuff is simply got from travellunch (same as in the original rations) but im other varieties.
Often they simply add more popular items, and they probably sell them under the names of FSR, EPa or LAV and stuff like that to be able to sell them for a higher price, or simply to give buyers confidence in the product.. (and sell more.. offcourse)
All fakes are very easy to recognize though, if you know the original rations.
They are simply packed in those zipperbags or in a vacuum pack. Another dead give away is loaaads of bright colours in the packaging
I'm going on holidays the next couple of days (to Germany) and I come across a beverzwerfshop store when I'm almost at the snelweg (motorway/highway/autobahn for the foreign people). I 'll see of they were the once selling, and I'll post a picture when I get back.
