You will not get food from OUTSIDE INTO EU.
Japan is a non-EU country and they are eating "strange" things (to us) anyway
Bringing food into EU will causing you not a fine, BUT you have to pay a) postage for sending it back or b) €2 per kg for dumping as a fee
See video about:
You need to have a special veterinarian form from the non-EU sender, have to announce at the customs IN ADCANCE you will bring food into EU etc...
See e.g. Genusstauglichkeitsbescheinigung
Impossible for you and me, difficult (and expansive) to food companies

1kg je person ist erlaubt = 1 kilo per person is allowed...

Of fish ONLY!!!
All other meet (beef, chicken, pork) and milk and its products especially cheese are prohibited!!
You need a "Gemeinsames Veterinärdokument für die Einfuhr (GVDE)" to bring any meet into EU.

My question is,
How much are these worth on eBay etc. because I see german EPAs going for 20 to 25 euros (!!)
I think that's to much, maybe it's good for collectors, but for eating.. that's just way to expensive.

...but an option anyway to compare prices.
Especially if you want to sale something and want to estimate the value of it. If somebody else doesn´t sale the same item for the price you want, you can be sure you wouldn´t sale it too at least. (That´s the way I do it)
Do you know a shop selling EPa´s cheaper than this €14-2005-ebay auction? Cracker is looking and was asking for one!

I managed to buy one from 2005 for €6,50 (typ1) what I find a very reasonable price..
I also think 15,40 ( ) is a lot for 2 Dutch rations.. I was thinking €4 is about the right price..

The 24H ration on the pick only
Is €10 for a 24H pack with 2 entrees (=complete ration) normal, or am I selling it under the price?
