Haha, I'm not really a Weizenbier fan either.. but you have to learn to drink beer.. and after a while you will actually like it.. compare it to MREs

If someone told you during your AGA that you would love the EPa in the future, you would've laughed at him and told him he was mentally sick

I usually don't drink beer because most of them are watered down....the only decent one is Samuel Adams at least for me. :D

I like strong tasting beers specially from Europe either pilsners , dark lagers or good strong ales like stouts or Imperial stouts....

If not I go for any of my favorites...... Stoli 100 or a good dark puertorrican rum, Bacardi or Don Q 151 straight up!!
if not a nice sipping rum like "Ron del barrilito" 3 stars with a nice handmade cigar....PRICELESS!!

I'm not really a liquor fan..

Last time I drank liquor I met my girlfriend..

I'll stick to beer in the future..

If you like strong pilseners (lagers) try to get your hands on Grolsch, Beck's, Kronenbourg Alsace or Hertog Jan, you will probably like them
I don't know if you have 1001 beer pubs in your home town, but I recon every country has some.. Here it's fairily popular..
The problem is, most "young" people don't like foreign beers, and stick to the cheapest local beers. But I made it a tradition, that whenever we go out, we'll first have a Beck's (German, a Kronenbourg Alsace (french but german styled) or a Löwenbräu Premium..

But If I HAVE to choose a liquor.. I'll take a Jagdglück or Kräuterglut (both Jägermeister replica's) they are a lot cheaper then jägermeister, but jägermeister has screwed their recipe up (loads of artificial flavours instead of natural herbs). They also don't make you sick like jägermeister does..

I have tasted Grolsch back in Puerto Rico were I'm originally from and is a great beer also Lowenbrau....
Jagermeister is good but you're right they messed up the recipe.

I agree with Bypah. Samuel Adams Boston Lager, here in USA. Made under the Reinheitsgebot, they claim. Also, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat, is to die for. Bloody expensive though. If you can find a 6-pack for under $8 US, you are lucky. I thought this thread was about the annual Nijmegen memorial foot march? :D

Bad news..

I didn't finish.. I ripped the bands from my ankle this morning ( on a straight and flat piece of tarmac/asphalt! )
On the last day, that's just plain evil.. and it screws up (excuse my french) my vacation plans aswell (no driving, and don't even mention walking this vacation.... )

There was a swine flu alert 3 times.. and at all of those occasions, they told us that if it was swine flu the whole event would be cancelled to protect te people..

Yesterday the swine flu was confirmed by a british female soldier.. and guess what, she was quarantained, but nothing else happend.

The weather was very reasonable, except for some heavy rain (note to myself; buy shares in goretex)
I didn't need extreme rehydration things etc, but I managed to score some british, belgian and german ration parts (no complete ones unfortunatly)
the new german rations even have some chips in it.. how fancy is that?! :)

But I'm going to bed now, rest for I while (my feet, ankle and back are killing me)
