Nice work Housil, when my parents ask I do the same, find the most expensive auction and I got it for half that.

Though I do have to try and explain why I have bought a set of British body armour/flak jacket... I was drunk, it was cheap. I put a last minute bid in and won... only realised about 10 minutes ago when I woke up what I had done Though to be fair I did get it for about half they normally sell for £30-40 more with the armour plates (£60 or more).... I paid £20 and from the pics its in great condition.
Its the old Combat Body Armour not the newer Osprey/Molle stuff we have.

I collect everything from rations to militaria and everything in between (coins, currency,etc.)....
Couple of weeks ago got a rare "Spetsnaz/soviet survival tool" and when she saw it...How much that "warclub" costed??? ....I told her I got it "cheap" ,baby! ...

But at least she likes the grab-a -boxes i get from Treesuit

Must be the same everywhere, It hasn't turned up yet, thankfully. For some alcohol induced reason I sent it to my home address not my University dorm... I'm home for the weekend working + exam leave hopfully means I can be there when it comes and quickly hide it.

Our local postman Jeff is a nice guy, he knows when I am home by the ammout on parcels I get. Uni very little, home one or two a week ... and I wonder why I was short of money last month.

Same here Bypah, mix of everything, for me mostly WW1 things or modern militaria.
