God i remember Westlers Hamburgers served at fairs all over the UK in my youth, they were allways in huge 2 foot long tins behind the window of the kiosk, i can still taste them........quite literaly......alcockell wrote:Er, yeah. Is that that godawful pork and chicken sausage they roll out? Annoying that they stopped doing their Full English tin.. as that had Comberland sausages in.. and was a little more sausagey, rather than "WTF is this?"...Garron wrote:Westlers also made the old tinned rations, I believe the infamous 'compo sausage' from the 70 and 80's from what I have heard they were an aquired taste. They still sell them under the name sausages in lard.
