Pinch of luck is right, all I have seen for sale is the Iron Rations (compressed biscuit type in a small metal tin, E-portion I think).

Still available at ebay Ger, sometimes for just €1

The border guards (Grenztruppen) had the best deal, a field canteen with food being brought to you in large boxes that kept the food warm( similar to the US ones, the name I cant remember)

Thats why every soldier still has his "Pickpot" and cuttlery at his web gear.
