Housil, I had second thoughts, I'd be willing to take the taste test, I do have medical insurance! Can that be shipped to USA? Look, Its pretty simple, just close yours eyes and take a bite. I might be able to get one from German_EPA. Yes! I'm talking about the cheeseburger, not the mac & cheese.

this very thing was actually a headline on the fox news channel this morning (?)

they had some footage of one but did not actually have one on set. the reaction of the reporters to the concept was considerably less than enthusiastic.

i think that means it may be coming to the US or is already available here, but that was not made clear. i am hoping so, because i like the idea, and i'm not what you would call a discriminating eater. to the rest of you they might as well rename it cheeseburger in a trash can since that's where it will undoubtedly end up.

Housil's taste test of the Canned Hamburger was IMHO a little bit exagerrated 8) , so I decided to do the test myself.
Could it be that worse, as housil described it was...???
...Yes, defenitely is was that bad, or even worse!
My excuses to housil for not believing him!

The taste was bad (not terrible). The sticky bread-like substance was probably made from crudeoil or some other oil derivate. It was sticking to the inside of the can.
The meat itself tasted very salty and dry.
I could not discover anything looking like cheese or pickle.
The bread was glued to the meat at one side, so I decided not to demolish the complete hamburger. But after taking two bites, I spontaniously throw the Thing in the dust bin.
Conclusion: DON"T BUY THIS THING! And also don't taste it.

I think that, while it may not be a gourmet burger, but with a little hot sauce, and a strip of bacon that thing would have some potential
