North Dakota is consistently the coldest place within Continental United States (CONUS).
is Alaska included?

No, just the 'Lower 48' states. Alaska and Hawaii are excluded.

We tried to get a trip for christmans shopping this year, but when gas was hight, flights were als to expansive for 3 persons... :cry:
NCY was the most exciting city trip to me I ever did.
As my father lived in the States in 1962 in Miami and NYC, I was following his tracks in 2001 (Miami) and 2002 (NYC), visiting the same places he has been and comparing the pictures from 40 years later. :D

I have an original pair of alaskan mukluks...when I use them I look like Sasquatch.... :lol: with a pair of poodles on my feet.... :lol: :lol: but they are WARM!!!! :D
