I believe those are reproductions of the labels that are applied to canned goods that can be found on any supermarket shelf these days.

As for the MCI mystique, it is one of those cases where the military application has been adapted into the mainstream marketplace. Most of the items that were in MCIs and C-Rats can now be found on a supermarket shelf, though they may not be in the same size containers (e.g. a 15oz #303 can for the retail product compared to the 12oz can that might have been in the military ration.)
