I like those Pork Ribs...but I just have a problem with anyone charging full entree prices for a 4oz. entree. Those things should be half-price because you need to eat two to make a regular entree!
I know it's not The Epicenter's fault - everyone charges the same full price for those entrees.
The Epicenter 2008 Summer Savings
I hear that. Definitely one of my faves, and it would be nice to get them bundled, as 1 just isn't gonna cut it.kman wrote:I like those Pork Ribs...but I just have a problem with anyone charging full entree prices for a 4oz. entree. Hey guys I have to chime in, I just ordered some entree's from them and got the same extra goodies from them. I have to admit they seem a bit better than LL FOODS. They're pricing on entree's are a bit cheaper, and the shipping was quick. I got my order within 3 days via UPS. I did bring this up on another thread about shipping with them vs. LL Foods. I have to correct my mistake. Kman pointed out that shipping was included in LL Foods order and the shipping cost was extra on Epicenter's.
While I'm not a big fan on UPS, DHL or some other shipping compaines I think it is a bit much to ship it UPS. When my order came and the extra came with it, I was amazed. For my next order I will go with Epicenter but keep LL Foods as a backup.

There's really little we can do about the rising shipping charges. Fedex is the most expensive. UPS is often more reliable when it comes down to it for the price.

JFK06,
Hmmm....I kind of disagre with that, I have found that the USPS does a better job at shipping and keeping the prices reasonable even though going to the local Post Office is like trip to the dentist. I have found out that their prices are about 1/3 less than what UPS or DHL would run and they don't throw in any hidden surcharges. I will agree with you that there really isn't anything we can do about the price hikes.
It almost seems like the high prices will be staying around.

I don't know about internally, but USPS international rates are great.
I recently had some items sent in flat rate evelopes.
They're $11.95, 4lb max weight.
I worked out from the Spanish Post site that by the cheapest method it would cost me $33.75 to send 4lb of weight in a similar envelope the other way, to the USA.
Which BTW is why unfortunately none of you are ever getting any of my Spanish rations.
