The real pic of the finished product doesn"t look too bad, but what I'd like to know, regarding the expression on the guys face, did it taste that good, taste that bad or did he bite into something sour?

From the linked page:
It tastes... not so good. Very bland, kind of like pre-made tomato sauce and a bitter aftertaste.

I'm not sick and I say I would eat this thing again if it weren't so expensive.
And I relly must say that this propably is faaaar better when you're many kilometers away from civilization on top of some mountain and you can whip out a cheeseburger with nearly the same quality as a McDonald's cheeseburger while your friend eats dry bread or power bars.

Come on guys, with all the collective skills on this forum for getting any type of rations (hint, hint, kman)... someone must be able to get some of these into the US! I'll buy a dozen of them if I have too but I want them, besides my 5 and 8 year old sons are asking me when I'll get them about 100 times a day...help

Or your neighborhood McDonald's will give you the same thing, prepared and ready to eat, with two meat patties for a dollar.

C-Rats,
It's going to be a long trip..
I think most of the White Castles are back east..
Heck, I'd join you in the trip for some hot, fresh "belly bombers"
I remember back in 1994 I ate about three sacks full.
I ws sick as a dog but I still remember the taste of them and the frozen ones cannot be compaired..
Now, I'm craving a bag of them..
