2001, after the apes fought the boars, or whatever those 4 legged things were. Dr. Floyd had a great chicken samich, out of the space-age mermite, then the other guy had a ham sandwich. Then they had coffee. Must be cool to be up there, orbiting the moon.

Remember them? I used to take them to school for snacks between classes. I loved the peanut butter and chocolate ones. They, also, accompanied me on many a Boy Scout campout.

Interesting, the only thing I've ever had that was space food is the ice cream/ice cream sandwich. Both really good of course, but MRE desserts are better.
I'm just not sure I need some space food sticks, but they might go well with the collection.

Hello, everybody, this is my first post.
I'm happy to report Space Food Sticks are still sold in supermarkets here in Australia:
The packaging is kinda lame - surely it should have a picture of astronauts or something? But I guess that shows how little interest people have in the space programme these days.

Wow...you guys have all the good stuff down there (except for the
french fry vending machines) - kangaroo cookies with hazelnut dipping sauce right next to Space Food Sticks! You'll have to buy some space food sticks and let us know how they taste.
