Today I bought 4 Dutch arctic rations. My 'social network' thinks I am sort of insane!
I consider it as a compliment being called names because of my weird hobby.

Even from guys that also serve. Someday during November we came back from training and afterwards there were some warm meals (canned) left over. Some I hadn't taste before and I liked them. so I asked the SGT if it was ok if Í could take some home.
"what" he replied, "you're telling me that you actually liked that stuff??"
Ha, hilarious, the look on his face . I was allowed to take two with me.

heheh, seems like most people aren't into the whole ration-food-thing.
Weird though, most of us actually pay to eat those things, while soldiers who get it for free don't like it.
