Before anyone thinks that Halger280HVMag and I may be trading barbs, it should probably be pointed out that Canadians often refer to their one dollar coins as "loonies" (for the loon on the coin) and the two dollar coins as "toonies"
Though it's not likely that I would say "Hi" to Halger280HVMag by his given name, if I should run into him at YVR. Lest I wish to encounter the wrath of the RCMP, eh?

Wow this is a first: There are currently 3 04/2010 MRE cases on german ebay and all are ending at the same time, along with a 06/08 case. This is actually pretty good, the price will be lower!

It also says 'haltbar bis April 2010', or shelflife till April 2010, this guy obviously doesnt know what INSP/TEST means.

If you look under "Table S" on this page:
http://www.dscp.dla.mil/subs/support/qa ... /index.asp
you can see that it looks like the 2007 MRE menus started being used in January, 2007 (a first! they actually start at the beginning of the year).
Here's a copy of the table in case anyone has trouble loading it:
MRE XVIII (DOP Oct 1997 - Sep 1998)
MRE XIX (DOP Oct 1998 - Sep 1999)
MRE XX (DOP Oct 1999 - Sep 2000)

So that's probably good news for anyone bidding on those April/07 MREs - means they'll probably contain the new menu items.

Yeah i am as stunned as you are
I guess it's because those 04/10's were being sold at the same time. Then all of a sudden 06/08 looks like crap.
