Well I kinda thought this one was compromised, and I was right. It smelled horrible when I opened the outer package. A heavy chemical and stale smell, like the Shrimp Creole I opened a few months ago. I was hoping the smell was just in the dry cheese and it would reconstitute fine. You all know I like my cheese Xtra sharp! The inner bag was stuck outer packaging not a good sign at all. I added more water than recommend because it looked like it needed it. It smelled even worse prepared and I did not feel safe trying it, sorry. It’s really a shame it wasn’t good as it made one heck of a pile of food.
Thanks for looking

That's too bad, are there any pinholes or abrasions in the package? Looks a bit like it might have some pack wear. Ordinarily the mylar/foil seems to hold up well otherwise.
N.b. the 4.5 ounce net weight, they were certainly more realistic about portion size back then.

I didn't see any pinholes but it was clearly not stored well. I have a bunch more that look good. Gonna try a "good" one next time
They definitely didn't skimp on the serving.
