Russian/Ukrainain rations
thought i'd unlurk,
found a place selling russian and ukrainain rations, hope this is the right forum for it:

The "two soviet" is one russian (left) and one ukrain (right). Two different countries since 1991...BigMark wrote:Hmm.. whats the difference between the two soviet ones? Not sure which to get.

To my opinion, the ukrain:

contains very commercially aviailable stuff, nothing seem´s especially military designed (for e.g. colored labels on cans etc...)
the (newer) russian:

contains entrees in same shape as the old German EPa entrees :

The box is very similar to a french RCIR-one

had a similar shape than that one I got from Afghanistan russian troops last year:

Huh? Communism? I thought the USSR went out of business, belly-up, Chap 7, back in 1991? Outside of Cuba, I don't think there are any communist/socialist countries left, though China may still be communist in name only.
