Are these prices even available any more?
Hi goood people. This time I'm posting for a veteran of the Vietnam war, his son is in the military now, in S. Korea I thinks.
Anyway his dad really wants to try the mre's that his son eats. His son told him to try case A.
I've been trying to use ebay to find a case A, for less than $75 with s&h. But am I just dreaming? Or maybe you guys have some ultra super secret places where you order US surplus MRE's? If you can assist, I would appreciate it.
much thanks
much respect

I think quarantine spiked prices? I havent heard of 75 dollar cases ever. Would love to know if there are any out there though.JediMindTricks wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 12:34 amHi goood people. most wanted: RCIR, MCI/B units, IMPs, anything old, and a packet or two of RAFCO soup. PM if you've got these, or anything else to sell that isn't too expensive.
Re: Are these prices even available any more?
Prices for 2020 current issue or later "inspection date" are naturally going to be the highest. Look for older "out of date" rations and make an offer if the seller allows, you might be surprised. I always used a ~ $5 per meal (delivered) price as about right, and bought hundreds that way. Might be a bit of a stretch now, but it can be done.

even several years ago at a show a "new" case in cash went for about $50-60.
would have to imagine you're not gonna find a 21-22 inspect date anywhere for under $75 including shipping unless they're many years old.
i did see where govplanet has surplus MREs up - i think they're A-paks, maybe you can get someone to go in on a bid with you

you can get great deals at the gun show - especially when it's last day, last hour, and you have cash. not to say deals can't be found.
luck of the draw.
even when i bought 2 cases from Blackdog Bob at a show some years back it was like $45/case

I'm sure, where I am and at the time I got into it, there weren't many. I'm guessing spring and summer are better for that sorta thing.Dekard wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 7:39 pmMilitaryration_guy wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 8:58 amI got a case a last of goverment ones last year for 35 bucks at a gun showDekard wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 11:51 pmeven several years ago at a show a "new" case in cash went for about $50-60.

I found cases for $30 each at a Military Store in Monroe NC, before we went to the meetup.Militaryration_guy wrote: ↑Tue Dec 08, 2020 8:58 amI got a case a last of goverment ones last year for 35 bucks at a gun show
But these are lucky finds. I don´t think there are regular places you can get new cases for §75 incl. s&h anywhere.
