Pack date 2011 MREs..Still Edible??

I was wondering about the members' opinion about the food safety of a few cases of pack date 12/2011 Menu A?? I was cleaning up the basement and found a few that I had forgotten about. All stored in a climate controlled basement, cool and dark. Freshness indicator is still red. Your thoughts, still safe??

Hell yeah, you should be fine... that being said, always take precautions and do the usual smell, look test before you eat.

I'm sure u know the drill but if you get numb tongue, taste bleach, etc. toss it out
